spring cleaning goes well.? i did the kitchen this weekend, living room yesterday.? today i got the bathroom and gage’s bedroom done, in addition to basic straightening of the living room and kitchen.? i still want to vacuum the hallway today, i’ll get that done in a few…

gage discovered ice cream the other night.? i was dishing myself out a little bowl of bryers vanilla and he touched the ice cream on the lid and licked his finger… then proceeded to scrape all of the ice cream off the lid and eat it.? so i made him a little bowl of ice cream, which he sat and ate with a spoon so nice and neat.? he didn’t make a mess of himself at all.? the next night i thought i’d see how he liked the reeses peanut butter cup ice cream… he didn’t care for it at all.? but he fed mine to me.? which was sweet, but he was so fast about it he kept giving me brain freeze.
things are brighter this week.? i’m feeling better than i have in awhile.? perhaps it’s a spring thing.? who knows.? having a clean house helps, of course.
i finished the quilt top i was working on, just need to get the backing and batting to finish it off.? i’ve come to the conclusion that the squares i bought were not all 4″ some had to be a little smaller or larger.? i sewed them together with 1/4″ seams, 20 rows 14 blocks across.? and it’s not even.? i’ll fix that when i put the back on tho.? it’s still kinda funny.? it’s nice and colorful, bright and random.? there’s floral and toys and stars… it’s quite cool, i think.? woody said it was nice that it’s not the standard drab “grandma” quilt colors.? i like the way he put that.
