the goop…
gage can’t stand having me put sunscreen on him for some reason. i think because it stops his flow of motion or something. so, i’ve made a game out of it the past few times. i put a bunch in my hands, enough to cover back, chest, shoulders, arms, neck and face and start with his shoulders. sliding the goop down his arms makes him giggle, and he starts rubbing it in with his hands and applying it to his chest. usually he’s left with a layer of white all over his back, arms, chest and shoulders but it absorbs quickly and then he’s protected. the face is the most difficult. sometimes it gets in his eyes because he struggles so much. someone should invent a sunscreen “wipe” or something that parents can just rub on their kids faces to get those angellic little faces protected.
