ugh
I’m so tired. I just haven’t been sleeping well lately. Dunno why. There’s been a lot of tossing and turning and all that jazz. So frustrating.
I have huge stack of bookcrossing books to release. I’ve also got a few books I want to register and release that I haven’t gotten around to yet. One good thing about bookcrossing… it’s an interesting way to get rid of books, and you can sometimes see where they’re going — which is kind of nice. It would be nicer if more things got journaled when they were found though.
So, I was watching Everest: Beyond the Limit the other night. I have to say it’s kind of cool to get to see these people making their bid for the summit and all that. I don’t think Tim is going to make it to the summit. He just doesn’t have the right mind set. I don’t think I could ever do something like that. Even if I was in good shape and had the right training. I just don’t think I’d be able to do it. It could be because my introduction to the idea of climbing Everest was reading Into Thin Air — which documents one of the worst seasons on Everest. So many deaths, injuries and problems. The weather can be volatile, to say the least.
