So, valentines day.? Or… VD as my friends and I used to call it.? After all, what day of the year do you think more VDs are spread?? Gotta be Valentines day.? Cheerful thought, isn’t it?? Makes you feel all kinds of sexy, LOL.
Anyhoo… I’ve got big plans.? I’m thinking of taking my little Valentine out for dinner.? It’ll be a real bank buster of a dinner, too.? A happy meal at McDonalds and maybe an extra small fry for him, since he loves them so.? He’ll be over the moon.? He loves “trench tries.”? It would be worth spending a million bucks to see his smile, after all.? But if I can get away with only spending $5… I’m not complaining.? LOL?
There were a lot of flower sales today at work… and a lot of flower returns.? Apparently people noticed after leaving that they were charged $24.99 for the bouquet marked $19.99 and had to come back to get a refund of the difference.? Can’t say I blame them… I just thought it was really funny.? The guy in the floral department was stressed out and frustrated.? Which also cracked me up.? I know, I’m so mean.? Valentine’s day (and the days preceeding) can’t be all that great for folks who work in flower shops or floral departments.
I was giving out Valentines at work today.? Just to random co-workers (and their children if they brought them in)… nothing special.? I made 30 candy/card bundles for Gage’s class because I wasn’t sure how many were needed.? Only needed 17, so I just figured I’d pass the extras out.? It was fun, and cute the way some of my co-workers reacted when I handed them to them.
like my blog? buy me a coffee.
Hi. I think you could also make more of it through a bigger exposure about \”aah… romance in the air and all that jazz…\”. Perhaps you can have some the candy bouquet.
