randomly chaotic and frequently mundane

So a couple of the girls at work think I should see about dating one of the customers.? He’s a nice guy, when he comes in, we chat.? He makes me laugh.? He’s tall, good looking and a nice guy.? I’m just… I dunno.? Shy?? Well, shy about putting it out there that I might be interested, I guess.? How would I go about that?? Seriously.? Write my number on a piece of paper and stick it in his bag?? I mean… how do you go about giving a guy your phone number?? What if he’s not interested?? Yeah.? Not sure I can do that.? Not yet, anyway.

So this asshole pastor is potentially planning a 9/11 burning of a stack of Quran’s.? How stupid can you be?? First of all, why would you do something so hateful to a group that makes? up a very large portion of the? world population because of the actions of? just a few who follow that faith?? Seriously, are you trying to shift those numbers?? Trying to make the ones who practice tolerance join the groups that committed those terrible acts that occurred on 9/11?? Are you excited at the prospect of putting not only your own life, but the lives of those in your congregation in danger?? Because that’s what you’re doing.? Further still, you could be putting the lives of hundreds, even thousands of? innocent Americans who didn’t know who the fuck you were until you decided to burn someone else’s holy book.? Seriously, there are better ways to gain notoriety.

Meanwhile, if someone decided to burn a stack of Bibles because of the horrendous suffering that Christians have inflicted on people over the last couple of centuries, this guy would get his panties in a twist so fast his balls would snap off.? But if he? does proceed with his planned burning, that’s the least of what could happen.? Burn someone else’s holy book and you give them the ok to burn yours.? Is this guy prepared to accept that?? I doubt it.? But I have no doubt it’s going to happen.? Come to think of it, I’m tempted to host a Holy Bible Barbecue myself if this guy goes through with his plan.? And if the burning goes forth, I would bet that another attack would follow.? If that happens, the blood of the innocents is on Terry Jones’ hands.? Try to explain that one to your God on the day of your judgement, you dumb fuck.? The last time I checked, Christianity taught forgiveness, tolerance, charity, etc.? Whatever happened to “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you?”? The basic tenets and ideals of your faith don’t go out the window because someone has done you wrong.? It’s at those times, the times when you and your faith are being “tested” that you’re supposed to stand full force behind the positive lessons of your faith.? So that you might lead by example.?

To the Muslims out there… I’d like to apologize for this idiots behavior.? While I’m at it, I’d like to apologize for the idiots protesting the Mosque in New York as well.? Please don’t judge the greater populace by the actions of a few jackasses.

The previous post about my co-worker Andrew was made partially in jest.? Do I really expect people to randomly post their personal info so they might get to meet Andrew?? No, not really.? Of course if anyone DOES post, I’d be happy to pass on the info to him (especially the nude photos, LOL). Do I think Andrew would be a great catch for someone?? Absolutely.? Andrew is a hell of a guy, he’s made me smile and laugh on more than one occasion and has managed to brighten some of the worst days at work.? I think it sucks that Andrew is single because I think he’s got a lot of love to give. The boy has a big heart.?

You may be asking yourself… if this guy is so great, why hasn’t she made a play for him herself?? That’s a fair question.? I’m? a 34 yr old single mom with an Autistic child.? While I bet Andrew would be great with kids, he’s 21 years old.? He’s got? time to live his life before he proves his fatherly prowess.? Also, while I have no issue with age differences, the 20-30 gap is a little bit different than, say, the 30-40 gap.? In your 20’s you want to have fun, party, be spontaneous.? And while I’d love to have fun, party and be spontaneous like I was when I was 24… I’m a single mom, which adds a whole new dimension of responsibility and complicated.

So while I think Andrew is extremely datable and would make a fantastic partner for some fantastic girl… I’m quite content to call him a friend.

Andrew is one of my co-workers.? I’ve mentioned him on here before.? Surely you’ve seen the random “Hi Andrew”? or “Still with us, Andrew?” bits that have popped up from time to time.

Andrew is a very nice 21 year old guy.? About 6 feet tall with blond hair and blue eyes.? He’s a good looking guy.? More importantly, he’s friendly and funny.? And his sense of humor runs along the same lines as mine… a little twisted sometimes.? Overall a very nice guy and very hard working individual.? I mean, he worked a couple of hours the other night on his own time.? If he’s that dedicated to a job, imagine the dedication he’d show his woman.? Someone should apply to be that woman.? Seriously.? Andrew is a catch.? Applications to meet Andrew can submitted in the comments.? Applicants should be females in the general vicinity of South Jersey.? Haven’t seen Hot Russian Guy in awhile.? About a month, actually.? Sucks muchly.? But there is a steady parade of attractive men to drool over coming through work.? There really is something special about Hot Russian Guy, though.

On the subject of attractive guys at work, there IS someone at work that I think is really cute, and a really nice guy.? But I’d be willing to bet that he’s at least 10 years younger than me.? Not that I haven’t gone that route before, but let’s be honest.? At 34 years old, being involved with a 24 year old can be fun… but the chances of there being a future in it aren’t very good.? Especially when you factor in the? whole single mom aspect.? Not that I’d be opposed to something that’s just for fun, mind you.? But at this stage in my life, I think I’d prefer to go the route of something with a long term aspect to it.? Or maybe not… I mean, if said cutie at work wants to have some fun… yeah, I think I’d be up to it.? LOL
