randomly chaotic and frequently mundane

i took this picture on a walk last week. the day it started snowing while me and tiger were walking. we took a walk a different way than we usually go. it was nice. pretty. so i took a picture.

this week there are 2 photos of the week . we had snow easter weekend this year, which most people would be surprised by. in denver, of course… it’s no biggie. this is why we don’t plant our vegetable gardens until may. because even then we might get a little snow. if i remember correctly we had a blizzard a few years ago in early may.

the first picture is the grass i the yard with a sprinkling of snow on it. the second is the flowers that grow on the border of the flowerbeds in the yard. they’re pretty flowers, i just have no idea what they are. one section of the yard they’re starting to get out of control, lol. in a few years they’ll be all over the yard, no doubt. if only it killed the scotch thistle on its way, lol

as i indicated on my website (on the potw page), i’ve decided to move the photo of the week to my blog to make it easier to update and so there’s room to post any descriptive information about the photo that i would like to add to the entry. today is tuesday which akes me a week late… but i also haven’t posted a potw in a couple of weeks… so i’m quite late. good thing it’s my website and i can do or not do whatever i want, lol.

this particular picture was taken a few nights ago from my back porch.  the light of the moon was illuminating the clouds so beautifully i couldn’t resist taking a picture.
