I love autumn. It’s my favorite season and Halloween is my favorite holiday. The time has come to decide what to dress Gage up as, and start making his costume. Last year he was a Christmas tree. He lit up and everything. I’m debating improving on the Christmas tree idea, or doing something different. Maybe a Christmas elf? I can make that light up, too…

Alas, the only way he picks out his costume himself is when I take him to walmart or something and let him just pick a costume off the wall… But I like to make his costumes. My mom made mine, and I think it’s a lost art. There would be so much variety at Halloween if more people did. And you can customize them… I mean, if your little princess wants to wear a green dress, where are you going to find that? You might get lucky… But if you made it yourself, you could get the exact shade of green she wants, and the exact shade of purple or black or blue she wants the trim to be. It can be exactly the princess costume she wants!

Call me crazy… But Halloween would be even more fun if people would make costumes instead of just buying them. A quick Internet search can actually reveal quite a few sites with instructions on cheap and easy Halloween costumes, if a parent would care to make the effort.

It was a bad day. Seriously. I was not a happy camper at all. Then my boy came home from school. He ran from me when I went to take his hand and walk up the driveway and go inside. He was laughing. He dropped his backpack, flung himself to the ground and rolled in the grass. he turned to me, laughing, held up his hands and said “mommy tickle!” he made me laugh. He made me smile. He made the bad day melt away.

I hate my job. No no, I hate my job and I love my job. I hate the bullshit and the asshole customers. I hate the drama. I love most of my co-workers. I love some of my customers. I love being at the grocery store. It’s the asshole customers that bother me the most, really. I just can’t deal with this cra anymore. People are complete jerks to u’s, and we have to smile and take it and be sweet and nice and helpful. I’m done. I want a new department. I don’t care which department. I want to work in a different department. I can deal with some customers, occasional customers, a few customers every day. But I’m fed up with dealing with dozens and dozens of assholes. Assholes piled ontop of assholes, with a side of raging bitches and cunts.

I did something this morning that messed up my blog… So I decided it was time to finally upgrade. I hadn’t done a wordpress upgrade on my blog since… Well, since I started it. In order for it to upgrade properly, I had to install 5 previous upgrades first. Now I’m up to date, and can do all future updates online with a click of the mouse… Instead of a backup, download, upload and prayer. WEEEEE! As an added, unexpected bonus, I got to upgrade my SQL, as well.

But now, I should be able to post via my iPad app. I know you’re excited.

it’s been awhile since I posted… My apologies to all 5 of you who read regularly, lol.

So a few weeks ago, I got an email out if the blue from an old friend. It was a hell of surprise, and I’ve been having a great time catching up with him. Its nice talking with him again. We were friends in high school, lost touch at some point after he went to college, got back in touch by chance around about 2000, lost touch again and he emailed me out of the blue last month. Awesome. He’s one of those people that I’ve always enjoyed talking to. He’ll always hold a special place in my heart. He was my first love, and a part of me will always love him. But I think it’s a good thing we never got together in that way. I think we would have made each other miserable and ended up hating each other. I’ve actually only felt as strongly for one other person in my life.

Gage lost a tooth today. Guess I’ll have to run to the store later and get him something from the tooth fairy. Usually he gets a new toy and a toothbrush.

I saw the final Harry Potter a couple of weeks ago. It was fantastic. I cried through half of the movie. I’d like to see it again soon.

You are wonderful, perfect and the best little boy in the world. Never let anyone treat you otherwise. When you touched my locket and said “mommy heart” you made me smile. When you looked at the pictures inside and said “Gage in mommy heart,” you melted me. I love you more than anything in the world.

yeah folks, when you pay for yous purchase with a $50 or $100 bill and I verify it’s authenticity, I’m not amused when you say “it’s good, I just made it.”. Really. It wasn’t funny the first time. Also, I’m not amused when I ask if you found everything you were looking for and you tell me that you didnt find the bag of $20’s, the free money, etc. It’s not funny. It never was. Please stop.

Dear creepy guy who comes into my store. Thus far, I have tolerated you leaning too close, sneaking up behind me and blowing in my ear and pinning ,e against a wall with your cart and kissing me on the cheek because if I allowed myself to react naturally, I would be fired. HOWEVER, management is now aware of my displeasure at your behavior, and you have been caught shoplifting. I don’t advise you try that crap anymore, because I now have the green light to react with physical force if I feel it necessary.

Pay attention to the line you’re getting in folks. It’s rude to step into a line that’s closing because you think you’re entitled. You aren’t. Move along.

Here’s the deal folks, the news did a piece on this, I’ve read countless reviews that all confirm that the site is legit — you just have to follow the rules.?
