Personal note on CC: CC DeVille is a great guitar player, and definitely one of the most intriguing. I don't mean technically... although I DO believe that he plays below his skill with Poison (he plays what fits the band), what I mean is that when you listen to CC play, it's fun... exciting... and sometimes emotional. I missed him dearly when he wasn't a part of Poison (but by no means did I stop listening to Poison, or following their career). He is a vital part of Poison, no matter what anyone says. Poison just isn't RIGHT without him... it was good with Blues, and great with Ritchie... but it just wasn't POISON. CC is loud, obnoxious, and HYPER! These are things I love about him. One of the best parts of a Poison show, is wondering what CC is going to do next.
I've met CC twice, and in person he is just as hyper and loud as you'd expect. Simply put, he is ROCK & ROLL. I do count myself to be terribly lucky that I've met him at all. When I met him, he was funny, friendly, and absolutely wonderful. You could tell he was having the time of his life, being on tour and playing music and being surrounded by fans. But when you get him talking, watch out... he simply will not stop, LOL!
